Philippe Wallez is Head of ESG, Public Affairs & Senior Client Advisor at ING Belgium, where he leads the bank’s sustainability strategy, develops client solutions for the low-carbon transition, and drives public affairs engagement. A graduate in Business Engineering from UCLouvain with an MBA from the University of Western Ontario, he began his career in marketing at Unilever, advanced to General Manager Marketing Europe at Norsk Hydro, and has since held senior leadership roles at ING Belgium—including General Marketing Manager, General Manager Private Banking, and member of the Executive Committee. Drawing on over 30 years of commercial and strategic expertise, Philippe blends business insight with a passion for ESG, helping clients turn sustainability ambitions into actionable results.
