Jörg leads the Cybersecurity, Privacy & Data Protection Practice in Brussels, bringing extensive experience in managing complex, international security matters. He specializes in data breach preparedness, incident response, and regulatory investigations, notably advising an electronic trading platform on all aspects of a cyberattack. His practice covers cybersecurity strategies for critical infrastructures, cloud deployments, and data centers across the financial services, energy, and IT sectors.
A recognized expert in the evolving EU regulatory landscape, Jörg advises on the Network and Information Security Directive 2 (NIS 2), DORA, the AI Act, and the Cyber Resilience Act (CRA). His representative work includes counseling a U.S.-based software company on its EU offering of AI and cybersecurity tools. Beyond his practice, he serves as the co-issue leader for cybersecurity on the Digital Economy Committee at AmCham EU and chairs the advisory board of Trust in Digital Life (TDL).
