Tanguy leads the Digital, Data & Cyber Law Practice at Van Bael & Bellis, with over three decades of experience in global privacy, IT, and telecommunications law. He specializes in high-level strategic matters, including GDPR compliance, the EU AI Act, and complex digital transactions. A prominent figure in the field, he serves on the European Commission’s expert group supporting GDPR application. Tanguy’s leadership extends to AmCham EU and the IAPP, where he was named an Emeritus Fellow in 2025. He combines this regulatory expertise with a strong transactional focus, regularly advising on M&A and crisis management. Additionally, he was awarded the Japanese Order of the Rising Sun for his work in international economic relations.
